About Us

The Framing Concept, established in 1988, is a custom picture frame shop, art gallery and gift shop. Since May of 1989, the shop has been located on the historic 300 block of North Queen Street in downtown Lancaster, PA, the oldest inland city in the United States, settled in 1718.

 

The historic 300 block of North Queen Street is also known as Uptown Lancaster, featuring many unique boutiques for your shopping pleasure.

Featuring Paintings by Tom Zayatz, Jan Warner Zayatz and Stuart Kendig who are paint artists from York Pennsylvania. They each have their own painting styles and visions. They want to share some of their work with you for your enjoyment and amusement.
 
Artist Reception 1st Friday – July 3rd, 5pm-8pm. Refreshments will be served.
 
Plus! Tom Zayatz will be painting in our shop window.
 
Framed works of art from our friends, customers and myself who are in the process of “Downsizing” their art collection.
