**August and September Show** – August 7 from 6-8pm – First Friday
and Gallery Reception to Recognize Lydia Card’s Gallery called
Equanimity. – Join us for a fun First Friday as we celebrate Lydia’s Gallery. Her
pieces will be at Nooks for all of August and September.
This collection showcases 3 shadow paintings that have been brought on site to my favorite tree to sit under growing up. The shadows of the branches and leaves cast onto the canvas and was
recreated with oil paint. The way the shadows and sun spots dance in paint creates a sense of
peacefulness and gentle movement that otherwise would’ve been overlooked if not made permanent
in art.

August 1 at 9am – Writer’s Breakfast – Bring a bit of breakfast to share if you
are able.
August 1 at 11am – Story Time with Kristina Wenger – Join us for a special
treat and story time as we read Anansi and the Talking Melon together!

August 2 at 4:30pm – Maile Sucker Book Launch and Birthday Bash! –
