About Us

The Framing Concept, established in 1988, is a custom picture frame shop, art gallery and gift shop. Since May of 1989, the shop has been located on the historic 300 block of North Queen Street in downtown Lancaster, PA, the oldest inland city in the United States, settled in 1718.

The historic 300 block of North Queen Street is also known as Uptown Lancaster, featuring many unique boutiques for your shopping pleasure.

Photo Display – Featuring Photography by Cam Ferdinand, Artist Reception – October 3, 2025. 5pm – 9pm. Location: The Framing Concept 328 N Queen St. This is Cam’s 8th photo show at The Framing Concept. Cam will be featuring photos of Bermuda, the Outer Banks, and Ocean City, NJ. Also included will be some photos of local interest and of course sports photos. (#WEARE). As always, some “fun” photos, what Cam likes to call “rainy day” shots. Refreshments will be served.
