Urban Sketching is a wonderful way to explore your surroundings and capture the energy and excitement of what you see. A trusty sketchbook, your favorite travel materials, and your keen eye is all you need to make visually interesting drawings from observation. Architecture, the hustle and bustle of cars and people, powerlines and the movement of the clouds are all possible inspirations in this laid back, exploratory workshop series. Over these 2, two hour sessions, participants can discover how to translate what they see into their sketchbook as instructor Matt Allyn Chapman provides demonstrations and one on one interactions as we visit specific locations.
This two week workshop will be meeting on location Thursday May 16th & 23rd 6:00-8:00pm
This workshop is a Bring Your Own Supplies meetup! Bring your favorite items or try something new.
