About Us
At Third Story we highlight the work of local and regional artists through four invitational and two open call exhibits each year. We have six artist studios in our space, and have selected work from them on view on a rotating basis. We also feature unframed originals from some of our local favorites in our flat file collection.
In March we are presenting four artists who take inspiration from trees and plants of the forest. Donald Crowl offers us jewel toned color studies featuring trees at close and middle distance. Stephanie Gibson discovers shapes in leaves and other items on the forest floor to begin her abstract paintings. Barbara J. Hart is a landscape painter who brings the trees into the forefront of her sweeping vistas. Jeremy Waak's kinetic sculptures are inspired by the movement of ferns.
