Chalk Pastel is an excellent way to take your drawings in an exciting new direction. Their blend-ability, vibrancy, and cooperation with other dry mediums makes them a favorite of those who prefer to work on paper. This three week series will be led by curio. co-owner Matt Allyn Chapman and will explore mark making & blending techniques, monochromatic along with expanded color palette use, as well as best practices for material application and image composition. Drawing from life and supplied printed reference, participants will engage with the material at their own pace in a stress free environment.
Chalk Pastel with Matt Allyn Chapman is a three session workshop meeting on Monday April 15th, 22nd, 29th 7:00-9:00pm. All necessary materials will be supplied!
Space is limited to 10 participants and is suitable for ages 13 to adult.
