Join local artist Renée Reese to learn how to create beautiful modern calligraphy using a nib and ink. This two session class is an introduction to modern calligraphy, a style that allows for creativity, flexibility and enjoyment. A pointed nib and ink are the perfect combination for creating thick and thin lines so distinctive to this art form. Participants will progress from the basic strokes, to upper- and lower-case letters, to joining letters and forming words. Then apply those skills to projects such as a greeting card, gift tag and an envelope.
