In this two session workshop local Artist and Designer Julia Rivera will guide participants as you explore using the Coptic stitch as a method of binding a hardbound book of your own. A Coptic stitched book creates a lay-flat design that is ideal for sketching, painting, and writing. This workshop will also cover tools usage, paper tearing, folding techniques, & cover creation. Each attendee will leave with a hand-sewn book of their creation.<\/p>\n

Hardcover Bookmaking with Julia Rivera is a two session workshop meeting on Thursday November 2nd and 9th 6:30-9:00pm. Materials will be supplied!<\/p>\n
