SUMMARY:Paint the City
DESCRIPTION:Stop down to watch local artists paint al fresco on Saturday\, June 21st from 11 – 3 pm throughout the city\, near many galleries and Museums.  The play of light and shadow on urban facades offer endless inspiration for our artists to create. The sounds of the city – traffic\, chatter\, and the occasional street musician add to the ambiance. During the summer months\, the city’s street festivals and farmers markets provide a lively backdrop of color and activity. \nThis year’s Line up: \nCurio. Gallery & Creative Supply\nMatt Allyn Chapman will be set up beside Curio\, working with some of his favorite materials-pen\, ink\, & watercolor! Ask questions & have conversations with him as he works. \nDenim Coffee\nKyle Confehr’s work is on display in the cafe.  Mention  “pant the City” for 10% off your entire order when you visit during the event! \nFriendship Heart Gallery\nFeatured Heart Artist Stefanus Kharuxab loves watercolors!  Try your hand at painting with watercolor on a small canvas!  Paint an interesting scene in or outside the Friendship Heart Gallery. \nGallery on Market\nCindy Schlosser will be demonstrating & painting bowls out her back door along Market Alley. \nLancaster Art Vault                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Resident Artist Kristin Witbeck Lee and friends will be painting plein air oils and portraits live on site. We’re also thrilled to welcome Guest Artists Suzanne Bartlett and Jane deGruchy\, who will be adding vibrant touches in acrylics and watercolors. Resident Artist and photographer Bronwen Hazlett will be capturing the magic through her lens as she documents the spirit and scenes of our beautiful city. \nRed Raven Art Company will have many artists out front of Gallery Row including\nClay artist Sheri Bare creating her whimsical creatures\,\nJerry Brown painting the city in watercolor\nChristine Mercer-Vernon painting flowers onsite in oil\nMichelle Spiziri designing her creatures with clay\nGay Cox\, painting in oil.\nDennis Martin painting in oil. \nThis Is Happiness Studio\nEmily Keener will be sharing her layered painting process\, with opportunities for you to paint alongside her and explore the techniques yourself. \nFreiman Stoltzfus Gallery\nOlivia Stoltzfus will be painting outside the gallery.
